We realize that it is not always easy to ask for help; and it can be a scary and intimidating step. To make this less stressful, we have thoughtfully developed an easy process for new clients to Solutions of Hickory, PA. 

What to expect when you schedule your Initial Consultation:

When you’re ready to take the first step, call 828-328-4313 or contact us to set up an appointment. 

We will ask the necessary questions to set you up as a client in our online system. Should you wish to determine if insurance might assist in payment of our fees, please provide our administrative staff with your insurance card. We will provide you with an appointment with a therapist matched with your needs and concerns and provide an estimate of your treatment costs. 

What to expect on your appointment day:  

The initial consultation will last 45-60 minutes. During this time, we will listen as you explain why you are seeking help. Then we will gather the necessary background information to best assist you or your child. At the conclusion of your session, you and your therapist will develop a plan for your treatment or evaluation services.  

*Please note that the initial consultation for most children will be with the parents only so that you may speak freely about your child and family situation when helping us to understand your child’s needs. Exceptions are made for older teens or special circumstances. 

We use a secure, HIPAA-compliant electronic client portal to send you an email with a link to complete your new client paperwork and contact information. We ask that you provide a credit card to be use for secure, contactless payments through the portal.
